Strategic Planning

Strategic Planning is another service provided by Innovations Plus. An assessment is our starting point, followed by a departmental review, staff assessments, mapping IT solutions to be the enabler, and setting agreed upon benchmarks that allow departments to take ownership. This enables pride in the accomplishment achieved through change, without the negative stereotypical impact "change" can create.

We have and can provide a clinical assessment combined with project management resulting in increases to and improved revenue stream, electronic charting, and accurate charting across all clinical departments within your organization.

Interim Resources

Interim resources can be provided to meet your needs. We offer upgrade support, testing, progress documentation, and readiness reports. We can offer this service for clinical, financial and administrative applications. Lack of knowledge is overcome by providing training or recommendations to improve the current state of affairs. As Leader of Applications, we have managed Information Systems, ensuring the smooth and timely operation while participating in the regional implementation of five other hospitals. We resolve end users problems with real solutions.

Meditech Attributes, Rules and Reporting

Attributes, Rules and Report writing is an essential component of many applications. By having the necessary skills to increase end user satisfaction and resolve annoyances, we have created various NPR reports to effectively audit the quality of charting, attributes that calculate IV intervention time intervals, and we have been able to link billing to the clinical procedures performed.

Custom Specifications

Custom specifications are made a reality with Innovations Plus. We have worked closely with Meditech and other third party vendors on major wins for our clients. Below are just a few examples. Many custom designs by Innovations Plus have substantial benefits.

  1. Preference card modification and other ORM customs.
  2. Emar – The new desktop Emar is a direct result of work completed.
  3. EDM customs including a Vital Sign tracker for busy physicians.

Interface Specialist

Interface specialist provides more than just HL7 compliance. Take for example a triage interface, designed by Innovations Plus. This interface increases physician satisfaction with clinical software and better management of patient care. Below are other examples of interfaces Innovations Plus enabled.

Conversion realization is a vital component to a successful migration from one system to another. Innovations Plus has completed several conversions. Some examples are:
